Lead Nurse, Independent Care Sector
Janine is employed by NHS England & Improvement, in the Nursing and Quality team, as the Lead Nurse for the independent care sector. Janine oversees the quality of care delivered in care homes and care at home. Janine works closely with GM CCGs and LAs to understand and support any challenges that they face with the care homes or home care in their localities and to celebrate successes. The Quality Improvement & Best Practice (QI&BP) group is an operational group that Janine chairs, the purpose of this group is to deliver improvement. Janine also has an assurance role and via the quarterly team to team meetings, the KLOEs and the quarterly assurance meetings we seek assurance that the CCGs have oversight of the quality and safety of care delivered.
Adult Social Care Transformation Workforce Lead
Jo is the Adult Social Care Workforce Transformation Lead at the GM Health & Social Care Partnership. Jo works across the Adult Social Care programme in collaboration with GM Local Authorities, CCGs and NHS Trusts, the Private, Voluntary and Independent sectors and wider stakeholders, to help to ensure that workforce innovation and resilience underpins transformation programmes, through promoting sustainable solutions to key workforce challenges. These include recruitment, retention, leadership and succession, workforce and organisational development, and exploring opportunities for new ways of working, that recognise the need for more integrated health and social care services, close to home.
