The Government has devolved the budget for Health and Social Care spending in Greater Manchester to NHS organisations and councils locally.
The Partnership is made up of all the NHS Trusts, CCG’s and Local Authorities in Greater Manchester. The Partnership aims to make the biggest improvements to the health of the population of Greater Manchester. It is led by Sir Richard Leese who is the Partnerships Chair and Sarah Price, Interim Chief Officer – Find out more about the Partnership and leaders.
The Partnership has laid out its plan to achieve this in ‘Taking Charge of our Health and Social Care’. Several other detailed plans support this on a variety of themes relevant to social care providers including Dementia, Mental Health and Learning Disabilities.
